ABOUT Like Home, Comme a la maison
Clemence and Christine PEREUR, Mother and daughter from a small city in France (Condé Sainte Libiaire) both have the passion of cooking.
Clemence was the first one to embrace her passion by doing a diploma in Cooking and service in Sainte Genevieve (Meaux), she decided to try something else by doing a diploma in Communication but it was not enough.
She went back to her passion and did the famous school of Mr Alain Ducasse (Yssingeaux) where she passed a diploma in Pastries, and to improve herself and be better she decided to do a diploma in Chocolate at the EPMTTH School (Paris).
During her studies she worked in different companies like the Radisson Hotel Disneyland Paris, Fauchon, Yannick Allno's Terroir Parisien Restaurant, Christian Constant's Chocolate, Lepinay's Chocolate and the St Louis Club (Clayton).
After her experiences in France and at the St Louis Club; and because of her love of the city of St Louis she decided that it was time to do something by herself and she opened Like Home Comme A La Maison in September 2016 as the Pastry and chocolate chef.
For Christine everything was different she loved cooking but she started her work life as a Hair Dresser and when she had her two daughters (Cassandra and Clemence) she stopped working.
When Clemence had the idea of opening a pastry shop, her love for cooking was too strong and she went back to school to do a Pastry diploma at the EBP Shcool (Paris).
She didn't stop there and get back to school another time for a Bakery Diploma at the famous school Ferrandi (Paris) and made her familly very proud.
She followed Clemence in her project in St Louis and she now is helping her as the Bakery Chef in
Like Home Comme A La Maison.
